Rochdale Film Office, part of Rochdale Council is a one-stop-shop for filming enquiries. All filming in Rochdale requires a permit, which we can provide. Contact the film office with your inital enquiry and we can help and advise you with every aspect of your shoot - from filming in council-owned locations such as the stunning Rochdale Town Hall, to privately owned locations such as office buildings, shopping centres, hospitality venues and rural sites listed on the Film Office database. We can also arrange tech parking, road closures and unit bases.
Rochdale borough and towns are home to authentic industrial buildings and converted mills that can double as London or New York with their stylish interior bars, studios and vacant spaces. Whilst the surrounding countryside offers open landscapes and panoramic views of Manchester city centre. Whilst Rochdale Town Hall offers dramatic formal rooms, staircases and corridors also features a fully preserved courtroom, judges chamber and police cells.
